In this two-part handbuilding class, you’ll design and make your own custom ceramic wind chimes. From the shape of the top piece to the individual hanging elements, every detail is yours to imagine. Some students choose symbols that reflect their family, memories, or meaningful moments, while others simply follow what feels good creatively.
No experience needed, this class is perfect for beginners and returning students alike.
How it works:
Week One:
Hand build your wind chime pieces from clay. You’ll create the top form, the “striker” and 3-5 elements that will hang and move.
Week Two (two weeks later):
Return to glaze your pieces and bring them to life with colour.
Pick-Up Party:
Once everything has been glaze fired, you’ll be invited back to the barn for a relaxed pick-up gathering at the end of the month (date to be arranged).
Your finished wind chimes will be ready to assemble at home, and you’ll be provided with the materials and simple instructions to put everything together.
