This class is all about slowing down, getting your hands into clay, and creating something joyful and useful.
Using the traditional pinch pot method, students will handbuild a set of two organic-style ice cream bowls with soft curves and plenty of personality. No two bowls will ever be exactly alike, which is part of the charm.
This beginner-friendly class is held over two sessions. During the first class, students will learn how to form, shape and refine their bowls from clay. Two weeks later, everyone returns to glaze their pieces in the colours of their choice before the final firing.
Perfect for beginners, pottery lovers, or anyone looking for a creative evening in the barn.
All materials, glazing and firings are included.
Class Dates:
• Wednesdays, June 10 & 24, 6 pm to 8 pm
Location:
Dirt To Dishes Pottery Studio
15 Ann Street, Shelburne, Nova Scotia
Cost:
$85 + HST per person
No pottery experience necessary.
